TANZEEM LISSAAIL-E-WAL MAHROOM
The Former Chief Minister NWFP Mohammad Akram Khan Durrani in
December 2006 announced the setting up of an institution to help
the poor segments of the society. So, the amount of Net Hydel
Project i.e. Rs. 400.00 million was diverted to this
institution. In fact this idea was the brainchild of Mr. Ijaz
Ahmed Qureshi, then the Chief Secretary NWFP. This institution
was given the name of “TANZEEM LISSAAIL-E-WAL MAHROOM” and the
passion behind the motive purely was to achieve the pleasure of
Allah Almighty.
The next step was to select a man to raise this organization. A
man with great wisdom, intellect, experience and tremendous
moral strength and character was required to shoulder the
responsibilities. Every body knew that Mr. Abdullah, former
Chief Secretary NWFP, was the man and he was very kind to accept
the responsibility as the first chairman of the “Tanzeem”. The
object of the “Tanzeem” was to mostly depend on voluntary
support of motivated people and they were asked to contribute
whatever they could.
Contributions of the “Tanzeem” towards the Ittefaq Kidney &
General Welfare Hospital are tremendous and they have provided
funds for the purchase of:
a) 100 KVA Electric Generator.
b) A Dialysis Machine for the Kohat Unit.
c) Over Rs. two million for the free dialysis service to the
poor community.
The “Tanzeem” is serving and helping the poor community in the
following sectors:
a) Health, all sector, with the help of NGOs.
Over 117 Medical Free Camps were organized.
b) Education for poor people and orphans.
c) Social Welfare: A comprehensive plan has been chalked out for
the developments of skills.
